Tsingtao Sino-german Future Town

Location: Shandong, China

Site Area: 2.86 ha

Building Area: 217,552 sqm

Client: Tsingtao Shenglong Real Estate

The project sits in a coastal hilly zone, with Zhuama Mountain to the south and views of Jiaozhou Bay to the north, across the Economic and Technological Development Zone. The eastern part connects to the bridgehead area of the cross-sea bridge, offering prime location advantages.

In terms of design, it adopts an ecological city concept, blending natural landscapes into the city park and creating a three-dimensional forest around high-density communities using unique urban terraces. The circulation plan transforms the city park into forested areas and grasslands, offering a refreshing visual change and serving as venues for festivals and exhibitions. The design integrates culture, parks, art, and urban forests into commercial areas, fostering an island of vitality and ecology, and building a new complex with a healthy, trendy, and cultural atmosphere.

The Sino-German Future Town project is surrounded by mountains and water, boasting a beautiful natural setting. The design seamlessly integrates natural and geographical features by incorporating roof, platform, balcony, and terrace greening, along with sunken squares and multi-level greenery. Abundant plants are used to create a lush, ecological environment, extending the landscape with the terrain's natural contours to enhance the quality of commercial and residential environments.
