Xiamen Antaeus Mangrove Resort

Location: Fujian, China

Site Area: 17.4 ha

Building Area: 474,700 sqm

Client: Antaeus Group

The Xiamen Mangrove Resort World project is located in the eastern sea area, adjacent to Xiamen Bay, with convenient transportation and a prime sea view. The aim is to create a new regional landmark and vacation destination. The design team seamlessly combines landmark hotel clusters with bottom-block commercial spaces, balancing the smooth dynamics of the skyline with a people-centric experience in the commercial blocks. In the design of the commercial area, multiple primary and secondary squares are integrated with the traditional architectural spatial patterns of the region, creating appropriately scaled inner streets for the project. Elements such as setbacks, light courtyards, modern vertical greening, and stacked glass doors are utilized, along with the combination of traditional Xiamen red bricks and stones, to create a rich, youthful, and efficient commercial experience.
