The project is located in the central position of the North Bank Peninsula in Qingdao, leveraging the academic atmosphere of Shandong University, transportation location, development background, and site environment. It benchmarks the internationally renowned Kendall Square in Boston, USA, and aims to surpass it in terms of industrial development, urban layout, composition of industries, population conditions, and key factors. The goal is to create an international Blue Biotechnology industry-academia-research town in the center of the North Bank in Qingdao.

Utilizing dynamic and flexible planning layouts, open and expandable spatial structures, the project aims to become a comprehensive industrial park. It will provide space for pharmaceutical biotechnology leading enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises, and research institutions. The park's public open spaces include the "Cafe vs. Tea" discussion center, the "Nerd Bar" social center, the "Mind Game" game and fitness center, as well as scattered facilities like comic houses, bakeries, and dessert shops throughout the park. This contributes to creating a vibrant park with a 24-hour environment, catering to the special work and lifestyle patterns of high-tech personnel who may work irregular hours and locations. It is designed to effectively meet the comprehensive needs of learning-oriented and research-oriented enterprises.
