The Tieli 1st Middle School Library, located near Tieli 1st Middle School and Tieli 4th Middle  School, emphasizes creating a warm and pleasant learning atmosphere in its design. The interior and exterior space design emphasizes permeability and functionality, creating a space with a sense of fun and circulation, while different heights of space form interactions.





The courtyard facade combines stone walls with glass, while the main entrance facade integrates stone and transparent wooden grilles, making the building an extension of the environment. Semi-transparent grilles on the east and west sides provide shading while enriching the spatial light and shadow relationship, cleverly blending light and space to form natural screens, providing readers with a quiet and pleasant learning environment.




The library features two distinctive reading rooms, with public spaces including open reading areas, a lecture hall accommodating up to 100 people, open study areas, and private study rooms. Additionally, the library houses city and school history cultural exhibition halls, dedicated to providing readers with a rich and colorful cultural experience.
