Xinhua News Agency Heilongjiang Branch and Trading Center Tower is located in the Harbin Songbei district, on the sub-axis end of the Technology Park. Its northwest corner is faces the river bank, and the southwest faces the open plaza at the end of the city district’s main urban axis. This building complex adds an impressive feature to the Songbei skyline, which is centered around the two landmark towers to the south of the site. The project is composed of the Xinhua News Agency office and a trading center tower. These two buildings are located on both sides of an elliptical plaza with an asymmetric layout. This arrangement allows the two buildings to complement each other aesthetically and functionally.
