Zunhua Financial Street Crowne Plaza Hotel

Location: Hebei, China

Site Area: 8.6 ha

Building Area: 54,000 sqm

Client: Financial Street Group

The project is situated in the core area of Tangquan Manchu Township, Zunhua city, Hebei province, serving as the focal point of the Spring Resort town and a prominent landmark for Zunhua Tour.

The site's natural topography, boasting a dynamic elevation fluctuation of approximately 40 meters, serves as a canvas for architectural ingenuity, guided by the ethos of "harmonizing with nature." Here, the hotel's layout gracefully integrates with the undulating terrain, ascending gently along the slope to craft a multi-tiered terrace landscape. Leveraging this natural topography, key facilities such as banquet halls, lobby areas, restaurants, children's zones, and wellness sanctuaries are strategically situated from west to east, forging a seamless vertical connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, thereby enhancing the visitor's journey of exploration and immersion.

Standing majestically at the pinnacle of the eastern horizon, the SPA center emerges as the quintessential spiritual nexus of the hotel, commanding panoramic vistas and imbuing the surrounding landscape with a transcendent aura. Nestled along the precipitous valley flank, high-end spring villas embrace the mountain's embrace, capitalizing on the natural bounty of mountain rain and verdant landscapes to fashion an enclave of exclusivity and privacy.

The architectural expression epitomizes a contemporary interpretation of the Chinese aesthetic, characterized by openness, grandeur, and a profound sense of continuity. Through a judicious blend of avant-garde design elements such as expansive cantilevers and traditional motifs including Chinese wooden grilles, external gray brick facades, ornamental pillars, and an abundance of natural light, the design aspires to evoke a captivating visual narrative that seamlessly reconciles tradition with modernity, thereby endowing the project with an enduring sense of cultural resonance and architectural splendor.
